Ark Management purchased the Coast Guard approved “Dolphin Plus”, a 28′ twin using 240 hp Yanmar engines coupled to Hamilton’s 213 jet pumps, to be able to offer whale and dolphin watching tours and cruises out to sand islands that are created during low tide.
Dolphin Plus offers several features that will ensure an enjoyable trip for its customers. The boat features an onboard head, stereo and PA system, dual heaters, rotary fans and a remote camera mounted on top of the boat to record each trip.
Safety features include a 10 man life float mounted on top of the boat, radar, VHF radio, depth sounder, compass, duel remote spot lights, beacon lights attached to both the life float and ring buoy and all U.S. Coast Guard required equipment.
Additional features include a carpeted bow with a ladder and rail, swim deck ladder, gated rear rails with seating, freshwater washdown system, ski tow, passenger door wipers and Bennett Hydraulic trim tabs.
