This vessel was custom designed by John J. McMullen
Associates, Inc. (JJMA), specifically for water taxi and/or ferry type operations. The Stephen Girard will be joined by two other sister vessels, the Ben Franklin and the William Penn, providing a shuttle service along the two mile waterfront of Penn’s Landing in Philadelphia.
