The USFS 32′ is a fleet replacement vessel from their previous Bentz Boat having reached it’s 20 year replacement requirement. Operating in Hells Canyon of the Snake River has always been a demanding environment with the need to safely transport personnel, firefighters, supply USFS facilities, patrol, rescue and any specialty requirements needed. With twin Yanmar 6LP diesel engines and Hamilton 241 jet units they have the power and fuel efficiency for extended trips into the canyon for mission requirements including dory and raft retrievals.
